Lost Tribes The Foundation are rooted within frontline communities of color that are often faced with economic disparities, violence, drugs, housing and environmental issues. The Tribe's purpose is to heal a community in trauma and rebuild a village that honors, respects, nurtures and supports each other & Mother Earth. The Tribe aims to educate, organize and empower BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People Of Color) communities to stand up and advocate for themselves.
Through Training programs on Community Organizing and Advocacy, Project - U.P.L.I.F.T., Teaching sessions on Cultural Awareness and Healing circles that provide a safe space for all forms of Spiritual & Traditional practices. The concept of culture seems to lend itself to very different understandings of its meaning. As our collective shares cognition, values, meanings, beliefs, understandings, ideologies, norms, rules, symbols, emotions, expressiveness, the unconscious behavior patterns, structures, linguistic and traditional practices. All of which becomes topics of study, we encourage the pursuit of self discovery.
Through the research of one’s individual Culture and Genealogy, returning to our Roots to find self awareness in order to break the chains of mental slavery. Reconnecting to our Healer, Teacher, Warrior Spirit and finding guidance in our Traditional values. Our history is one of Resistance and Solidarity, we continue the movement of our forefathers and will remain on the Red Path which follows the winds of the four directions to the source of all Creation.
